Peng Chen is a 2019 summer intern at VTDigger. She’s from Taiwan and pursuing a master’s degree at Missouri School of Journalism. She was the reporter and graphics designer with Columbia Missourian. Before coming to the U.S., she worked as a newspaper reporter for more than five years, covering city government.
