Check out the latest campaign finance data in VTDigger’s database, newly updated with August numbers.

The latest update of the database includes contributions made in July — and those donations are increasing fast. On July 1, donors had contributed $2.6 million to statewide campaigns. By Aug. 1, that total had reached $3.3 million.
But the state doesn’t publish that information in an easy-to-use format, making it hard for the average Vermonter to learn who’s in the lead, where their main funding is coming from, or how much of their campaign is made up of small donors. So VTDigger created this database to open up that information to the public.
We’ll keep following campaign finance data as the race heats up through November, so keep checking in to get the latest on the money flowing in to Vermont politics.
