[R]ANDOLPH — Gov. Phil Scott joined a group of entrepreneurs and business investors who were riding motorcycles around the state last week.
Scott joined the riders of Road Pitch, a five-day event where potential investors travel the state by motorcycle to hear pitches from emerging businesses in 10 towns.
The governor, whose interest in motorcycles dates back to his teens, joined the group on the fourth day of the trip for the 25-mile ride from Randolph to Barre.
Speaking to the group in Randolph, Scott said he doesn’t get out on the road as often as he’d like. After he took office, “They took my car keys away and my scheduling privileges,” he said to laughter.
“I relish the thought of getting out and riding to Barre with you,” he said.
