UPDATE: The state police reported shortly after 10 a.m. that the phone service has been repaired.
The administrative phone lines for the Vermont State Police public safety answering point in Williston experienced an outage Friday morning.
State police announced that the seven-digit phone line for the center was not working, but that the emergency 9-1-1 line continues to be operational.
Dispatch in Williston, St. Albans, Middlesex, St. Johnsbury and Derby are affected by the outage.
According to an announcement from the state police, technicians are working to resume service on administrative lines.
